Autobusová situace na západní hranici

Belize City, 27.března, 2009 - Nejnovější informace obdržené od Belize Tourism Board o přepravní situaci na západní hranici signalizují podporu od belizské a guatemalské vlády k povolení hladkého přejetí přes hranice.

The Belize Tourism Board has been advised that an envoy of tour operators from Belize crossed the border to Tikal earlier today and did so without any inconveniences. Guatemalan tour buses entered into Belize and were able to take their passengers to their final destination. The Belize Tourism Board has every reason to believe that this will be the mode of operation over the next couple of days.

We welcome our visitors and the Belize Tourism Board with the support of our tourism stakeholders in Cayo and the Border Management Agency, retains its physical presence on location at the Western Border through Sunday, March 29th. BTB Hospitality Officers will be on hand to provide any ground assistance required by our visitors as they make their way into Belize. The Belize Tourism Board is hopeful that the ongoing talks between the Governments of Belize and Guatemala will yield a mutually beneficial resolution.
