Xtreme Tourists navštívili Belize

Hosted by Ernie Harker, an outgoing athletic advertising executive, Xtreme Tourist is a half-hour, high energy, reality-travel show that focuses on off the beaten path adventures at great vacation destinations around the world! Ernie encourages viewers to take frequent vacations to stay fresh, vibrant and productive in a busy, high-pressure world. He travels with a crew of very experienced outdoor filmmakers to provide an adventurer’s point of view on the culture, cuisine, accommodations and off-the-beaten path adventures in the world’s greatest vacation destinations. Filming documentary style allows the team to capture Ernie’s raw reactions to the local customs, hot nightlife, and exclusive adventures available only through an experienced travel guide.

While in Belize, the crew first visited Caves Branch where they had the opportunity to explore a river cave with a total of six waterfalls that must be challenged and conquered before day’s end. They then headed to “La Isla Bonita”, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye where they engaged in two tank dives, a morning of Sport Fishing where they enjoyed the pristine natural beauty of this Caribbean oasis, and for an overwhelming adrenaline rush, kite-boarding, where the open sea provided unlimited reaches in large swells. The final leg of their itinerary took them to Pecarry Park, where they explored the jungles of Belize on trails laid out over 100 years ago by ATV’s before departing the country.

Participating private sector partners who assisted in making this trip a success included Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch, Cayo Adventure Tours, Tropic Air, Brahma Blue Holistic Oasis, Ecologic Divers, GOFISH, Sailsports Belize, and Discovery Expeditions.

The Xtreme Tourist Belize episode will air twice between October 3, 2009 and April 3, 2010 on independent and affiliated stations across the United States, with an expected reach of 56 million households and will be viewed by thousands of interested travelers on the xtreme-tourist.tv website, where links to the business sites will be available.
